Well, it is not coming to Canada. Just like the khaan Kirk, Cage Spock, and any other re-released figures to date. NOW saying that, when allhope was lost about ANY AA figures creeping passed the 49th parallel, we got a whole shipload of figures (three or more waves) at TRU!
We will have to pay the comic stores and hope we get lucky later.

Now the above mentioned exclusives, to my knowledge, were not mentioned by DST prior to TRU announcing themi assume that we will get yet another suprise figure next time.

Yeah those of us living overseas generally have to pay at least 30-50% more due to shipping costs. What's to be done, we need our plastic fix right? biggrin.gif

AA's blog has packaged pics of TRU MM Kirk, MM Spock, and Kang up now. The Kirk looks better in my opinion and he comes w/ the salute hands this time, Spock not as good as original, Kang looks good although not as spot on as the promo pic and DST cheaped out on the Klingon disruptor and knife paint apps. They are just plain silver. Still it's Kang so I must have him. He task me. biggrin.gif

Probably to be released with the Romulans also. I think those were silver.

Well the disruptor is supposed to look like that, but the dagger... Well, it's hard to say they cheaped out, honestly. We didn't really see that Klingon dagger until the movies and TNG, so TOS-wise it's really just a bonus accessory that they can decide what to do with. Either they cheaped out, or they decided to make it match the disruptor.

The Mirror, Mirror figs look great, I think even if I had the wave 2 versions I'd be tempted to get them again. Spock's head looks a bit off, though, like the paint app was too soft. In fact, he looks worried.

I forgot that! Okay DST I apologize. Jedigreedo has a good point too. I was being to knit-picky. All love all these releases and have been debating to get them or not. Especially since Spock and Mcoy have the extra hands. I can't decide between the 2pack reissues or the singles. I love the different colored phaser handles and the uniform colors matching (finally!).

We're all quite nitpicky about different things, no worries. biggrin.gif

Perosnally, when it comes to the TRU figures, I'm picking up the rerelease singles and the 2-packs if I can manage. The rerelease singles, however, I won't get any openers for. Since the Rand/Chapel wave will be using the new packaging instead of AA's style, I plan on using the rerelease singles to make a consistent packaged display.

With all these Klingons, has anyone ever thought of a custom Kras from Friday's Child? What about using a Nemesis Picard head as a base?

Yeah, I showed a playmates custom from Matt Hackley on my blog... but now that it's mentioned, a Picard head may make a good base for an AA style one...

Hmmmm.....

The picard head is gigantic for both the S7 and AGT releases. It would be way too big for the TOS klingon body. Its so big it fits perfectly on the TNG Klingon body. The AA NEM head might work but its not as full as the DST sculpt. Now if they ever scaled down the DST sculpt, then we might be talking!

TRU updated the pic for their Romulan. Looks like the one we've been expecting!

Woohoo! Hopefully it will be made.

Hmm...so if the Romulan is an "Army Building" centurion...when will we see the Romulan Commander? Or do we think they may use the same scupt and release him as Sarek instead? Thoughts? Should this be a separate thread?

Nice, I had a feeling it would be the generic Romulan as the Exclusive. That is totally cool.

I'm sure they'll still release the Commander at some point, in fact, they have even more reason to do so with the Centurion being made. The body use is pretty much the same, just the paint and head change. So, that brings the cost down on the Commander, meaning we could see him released in almost any way. It should also make the Rom-Kirk/Spock 2-pack cheaper to produce.

Shame they probably wouldn't do something like a villain wave with the Commander, Koloth and Trelane.

Just like all the other ST product due this fall, these 3 have new ship dates at TRU: 11/21

They're getting closer and closer to not having anything else new out before the end of the year! Even Mirror Mirror repacks.

Update: OK, the DST site claims most all of their TRU exclusives (including these) are now arriving in TRU stores:
Star Trek Action Figures Series 3:
Arriving in stores: Now!

Guess we'll see -- keep checking those crowded ST aisles!
