Looks like TRU's going to be re-releasing these individually, with Kang as the exclusive for this wave.

Oddly, Kang looks a heck of a lot like the pics of Kor on the New Force reference site, though it might be a typo on the TRU site.

Nope, that's definitely a new head....and it looks great! Thanks for pointing these out! I am so excited for a new TOS Klingon!

Thanks, that is definitely a new head for Kang, it looks good too! Glad to see that the Cage Spock is back in stock too, and a Mirror Spock rerelease looks good too. I am surprised to see the Mirror Kirk, i think the folks who carried that Peg warmer the last time had to almost give them away to get rid of them.

Oh man !!!! Kang !!! One of the main things the new movie did was rekindle my love for all things TOS. I can't wait for this. I need the Cage Spock, Kirk & Sulu w/ matching shirt colors, and Kang. If DST keeps up these Toys R Us surprises, I'll be a very happy man. Now if we just still had a Toys R Us here instead of 30-45min. away all would be great.

This is excellent news. So how long until they show up in stores? If they keep this up, we may even see new MiniMates if they follow the way of Battlestar Galactica. Fingers crossed this stuff all sells.

I went and ordered a couple too! Loving the TOS figures! They're the only one's I've decided to keep on collecting...The others are plagued with reuse of crappy-to-begin-with bodies, inferior sculpts, and a scale that's way too big. TOS is where it's at!

Now I just hope they'll make a Koloth at some point...he was my fav!

Excited for Kang!
Not so much for the other two. Does this mean they intend to eventually re-release *all* of the Mirror, Mirror figures? I had been considering buying the upcoming 2-packs of TOS despite already having the originals, but if it starts to look like they are just going to re-release EVERYTHING TOS, I am afraid I'm not into that and will stick to the new figures only. At least by buying only Kang, we can help send a message that we want new aliens.

Yes...I'm excited for the Kang figure. No, I'm not excited for the Mirror, Mirror re-releases. I wasn't interested in the line before and I can't afford to be interested in it now. However, if this send the message that we want more unique alien figures, then it's a good thing. The question I would have is...if Kang pre-sells well and the Mirror figures do not...will they still put Kang on the shelves? I sure hope so.

A good question. I think TRU is probably DST's largest customer. Since TRU has already listed these 3 on their site and started taking orders, it is probably safe to assume they have already committed to an order large enough for DST to produce them, and with somebody like TRU there is likely no turning back now (which is surely part of why they seem reluctant to order very many at once -- they make decisions, commit, and move on). So I wouldn't worry too much about that in this case. But I could be wrong.

Also, DST is producing Mirror Kirk for another product (Mirror Kirk w/Chair) -- which I am ordering since it is w/chair. I'd suspect those are being made in the same batch.
