Yar and Armus is the Perfect Select Piece it really is. I made that suggestion when the Select line first started and would KILL for it to be Tasha

Likewise. That would be amazing. She'd be compatible with the Season One Picard and Riker from their previous line AND have a cool base option. And Armus doesn't need any articulation. She could have a leg/head swap for the before/after moments. Love this idea.

All it would take is 1 extra head and an extra set of legs. Armus is simple, much like the Horta set. I would even pay the extra dollar or two to have that diarama be perfect

Honestly I wouldn't get excited over a Tasha select unless it was from Yesterday's Enterprise, and then only Maybe if it came with an Enterprise C station as part of the base. There are soooo many more characters I would put ahead of her. I would at least like to see one of each captain first. Even after them there are a bunch more characters I would prefer over her.

Can't say I have a "Yar-ning" for a Tasha figure but it isn't a terrible choice.

I'd love a Lt. Cmdr. Shelby with Enterprise-D first officer chair and console. I still can't believe she was only used in two episodes or that Playmates never made her.

I think Playmates had Shelby on their "Next Up" short list when they stopped producing.

Looks like the next select will be a Borg of some sort.

This info came from an excerpt from the Star Trek 50th panel at SDCC

Diamond Select Toys (Booth #2607)

"Diamond Select is showcasing several new Star Trek collectibles, including the Star Trek: The Next Generation Electronic Phaser, a Star Trek Movie U.S.S. Reliant Electronic Starship, Star Trek: The Original Series Romulan Bird-of-Prey Electronic Starship, Star Trek Select Movie Khan Action Figure, and Star Trek Select Borg Action Figure. They will also offer an exclusive Star Trek: The Original Series 50th Anniversary Gold U.S.S. Enterprise Starship"

The first thing that came to mind for me was Locutus.

They just did the Queen Female Fatalas(sp?) so I can't imagine her being next.

Seven also has a pretty decent figure/statue.

Hugh? Would he be popular enough?

Maybe One from Voyager? He'd be pretty cool.

I don't think the fatale line and select line will have anything to do with each other as far as character selection. So I see a Borg queen as a good possibility. However Seven of course would be my first choice. Although with DST's questionable choices I would not be the least bit surprised to see just some generic Borg drone.

Yeah i have a feeling its a generic Borg too, which i dunno how I will feel about that. They need to make them like the first two in attention to detail. Kirk and Spock were A+ with Horta and Khan ya know. I am sure the Deluxe Chair Khan will be really good too...but Picard and Worf were a little simple for my tastes

I think it'll be 7of9

Fact is DST wanted this line to be the greatest hits so why do a generic figure and not a popular character.

haha, can't argue with that.

Although I think being only 5 figures in (including Khan), DST aren't going to risk even weaker sales on a random borg drone. I think this will be a well known Borg. my bet is 7of9 but it could be the Borg Queen or Hugh from "I, Borg".

I really hope you are right about Seven. I would probably buy several.

7 of 9 as a complete drone would be great.  I never understood why Playmates went with "The Gift" version.

Well if we remember they did a few different drones for the borg line that got cancelled. The Queen, Full borg Seven, Assimilated Crewman and Seven in her silver catsuit and the preorders didnt merit production...so maybe a single borg will do alright

My order is in the warehouse, and should be shipping in the next day or so.
