I just started recollecting the 1990's 4.5" line...and Im shocked that I forgot how great and fun these figures are. So.... Who is your favorite figure from all the 4.5" lines?

I would have to vote Vina as the Orion Slave as one of the best. The Borg Queen and 7 of 9 as a Borg are right up there too !

Sub-Commander Sela is one of the best likenesses, IMO.

What I liked about the line overall was that they completed the crews, there were a variety of aliens to choose from, and once they got the crews out there they moved to the Legacy or Warp Series Format so they could get more obscure characters out as part of a whole wave so that all the collectors, even those that favored TOS or VOY only, were satisfied.

Yeah it was a pretty awesome line , i just wish they had the oppurtunity to do Enterprise, TWOK, and other obscure characters in the 4.5 scale.

My favorite was that Lt. Worf also. A close second was that generic Borg drone from the first wave. The boxed set of the original crew was awesome also!

I hope that Playmates will be able to have the same success with the 3 3/4" line that they had with the old 4.5" line. I know its a longshot. Maybe they could do some retro 4.5" and do some new figures for Enterprise and the other figures they didn't get to in the retro style. It's working for DST with the Mego repros!

The original purple Deanna Troi. A glaring omission from Galoob's attempt that made me excited about the line. Guinan is a VERY close second though. Both of these figures I searched all over for.

I loved Playmate's Seaquest DSV line as well. There's a line of figures that DST should go after in 7"!

Those were really good figures, an improvement on the Trek figures of the time.

But a 7" DST line? There hasn't even been enough demand for the 3rd season to be released on DVD. There's no way a figure line would succeed.

I just wish they'd bring back the 4.5" line to help us get some of those never made characters from all eras , and give the enterprise characters a go in the scale .

Maybe even give the accessories some paint aps instead of them all being mono chromatic , nothing ruins a photo scene worse than a bright orange tricorder lol

I love Locutus and the Generations Kirk figure probably the most. Two icons from key moments in Trek history, both rendered faithfully in my favourite Trek line of figures.

And as mentioned in a post above, yeah, the Original Series Bridge Set of the big seven is simply sublime. Probably one of my most cherished possessions. Imagine if Mego had done one of those in the same style?

yeah that ripped uniform sucked, and when they started releasing other officers in the red uniforms Riker was a different shade than everyone else's.
Too bad they didnt go back and give him the proper treatment he deserved.

I always loved the Ferengie figures, it's too bad they never made one with the uniforms they started wearing in the second season.

When I was a kid, I really wanted sixth season Counselor Troi for some reason. Now that I'm older, I realize the head sculpt isn't that great. Otherwise, Lt. Barclay is a very good figure, as is Data in DS9/Voyager uniform. The Picard in DS9 uniform would be a better figure if they had given him the Sisko body instead of the Bashir one.
