What's so awesome is that she will be thought of and remembered for a long time because she was a part of something as big as Star Trek. In a way it is the next best thing to immortality.

Very sad indeed. Another one that's passed without having the honour of meeting.
That's the one thing I hate about being in the UK. Less likely to meet my idols.
