I've already got the Narada, but I'll get Kelvin and Excelsior. Personally, I would have preferred the Ent B to the Excelsior, but really, I'll buy both, since they're slightly different.
Is it known if Walmart/Target/TRU will carry these, or should I be getting these online? There's so many ships they need to do (DS9, Defiant, ROMULAN WARBIRD, etc, etc) I really want to this line to have support of big retailers so they'll get to all those ships, but I also don't want to pay a lot extra on eBay because I didn't get them from BBTS when I had the chance.

That was my thoughts exactly, Since it was only a Costco exclusive originally I think they might do a regular release of it as well.

I suspect the now-sold-out listing in the OP, from which this thread takes its name, will turn out to be the Kelvin. But maybe not.
Great find on the smaller ship. Will be looking as well. Wonder what else is in that "HW Imagination" series?

I was saying I was expecting the larger ships (like we got in 2009) but not this ship, which is smaller in the same package as your typical Hot Wheel.

Yeah...does the fact that this blog is called "t-hunted" mean they only post about treasure hunt/chase items, or do they still cover the whole line-up?
Either way, at times it seemed like some of their past larger ships were treasure hunts as well, so I guess we're used to it?

Oooooo, where did you find this? I wonder if it is more metal than the 'Die cast' larger one....

After going through a few of the pages on there, it doesn't seem that they only post about rare ones. There's quite a few common ones they've posted on there.
The Abramsprise will probably be like any other property/franchise vehicle that's tossed into the regular Hot Wheels line, which will be 1-2 to a case and only in 1-2 case assortments. Although there are other specialty case assortments that might be out there that could include it as well. They pretty much are always shortpacked, but when you consider the volume in which Hot Wheels are made, there really aren't any that have been rare. Rare versions, sure, but not rare in general.
The worst you may have to do is pay $5-7 on ebay, most of which will be for shipping.
I think I'll be skipping this one, but I hope they do a couple more. I really like that despite the small scale and limited packaging dimensions, they still managed to include a stand for it.

A little cheesy, but I'll be the first to plunk some coin for this!
