You can check up on all of these and some other sadly never to be items on New Force Comics Trek Reference Center Under the Never Released Section (or just click that link wink.gif )

I've already spent too much time crying over that part of Ricks site laugh.gif

The TOS Bridge picture is interesting...I didn't notice it was a concept artwork until I realised no Playmates figures can sit that well....particulary Uhura who can not sit at all.

I wonder if they would have given us versions that could sit? I'm not sure how they would have managed it. They would have needed to give her a fabric skirt or something like that.

I believe it was relevant entries from the Star Trek Encyclopedia CD-Rom

I'm not sure if it was called the Encyclopedia at that point or just the Omnipedia - The Omnipedia came first. I actually had a copy that I bought, so I think those CDs were given to friends.

Did anyone else love that program? It was the first Star Trek-related software I ever bought, and I had so much fun with it. I wish they would make it again.

No, the bridge was going to be for the 4.5" figures. But there was a planned 6" line that was to come with consols like the Sisko, Dax, and O'Brien 6" figures. You can check up on all of these and some other sadly never to be items on New Force Comics Trek Reference Center Under the Never Released Section (or just click that link wink.gif )

OMG....wow. The Profiles Edition Captain Kirk actually looks like Kirk....unlike the AA version(s). Yo...DST....you might want to check some of this stuff out for ... ahem ... ideas.

I am collecting the AA/DST Trek figures and I am always on the look-out for the few Playmates Trek figures I am missing.

I am needing Playmates Trek Figures of Tapestry Picard (individually), Yesterday's Enterprise Yar (individually), Projections Barclay (individually), The Tri-fold carded Borg, Beverly Crusher in Movie Uniform (Euro/Australia release-only), Space-Talk Q and Borg, Data in the red uniform and Thomas Riker on a card (have an openned one I found at a garage sale with all the accessories).

I also collect all the Minimates. When AA had their line of Minimates I got all of them times three. I got two of each in their carded version so I could open one set and display the other set and then I got one set in the plastic tubes as well. I also got the exclusive Trouble with Tribbles Kirk times three one to open and one to keep for trade and one to display in packaging. I just pre-ordered a chase of wave one of the new DST Minimates so I could get the exclusive limited edition of the McCoy in Dress Uniform minimate. I am sure they will be similiar but I now they are smaller. I have some of the DC Superheroes Minimates and I know they look very small compare to the AA line.

I also have about 100 of the Playmates Action figures that I have bought as extras to have openned and my godson and cousin love to play with them and I will from time to time put them in poses for display. However, I do not let them play with my open Borg Queen because the would break her breast plat off and I am sure I could not get her back together properly. I also do not lete them play with my Original Crew figures because I have builth a diorama for them and it is hard to get them in and out. (I do not take pictures of my diorama because I am not the creator of the design and he does not want me to share it other than if I have people to the house.)

Thank you for your time

Playmates really did pull some nice looking figures out of their butts occassionally....actually, more than occassionally.

I loved their Picards....the 6th season Troi...LOVED Cadet Howard. Guinan always looked really awesome, as did Spock & Scotty. There are too many to name them all.

I didn't know the Transporter Reg & Troi were cancelled!

Thats....interesting!

I'll have to come & visit you one day biggrin.gif

I may have a spare 4.5" grey uniform Beverly....I'll check at home. I know I have extra's of the rest of her figures, but not sure about that one.

I wouldn't lets kids play with ANY of my action figures! kids like to destroy things...& in Australia collecting figures is a very expensive hobby....more so than in the US one would imagine.

If, by some miracle, I actually have kids...I will just have to buy 2 of each figure...so the youngens can mangle one & I can have one for display.

I checked but I only have spare figures of FC Bev & the 1993 one.

There are some really cool things at the NewForce unreleased pages. The deluxe 9" figures would have been very nice.
