I know everyone is depressed about the Q&A with Chuck... But on a good note... I got my TMP Phaser wink.gif I think I like it more than the TWOK version.

That's now 4 products from AA/DST that I've had to wait years for, that I'm absolutely impressed with upon finally getting it!

Enterprise - E
Enterprise - D and AGT
TWoK Phaser.

Even though I've bought every ship, and nearly ever piece of tech inbetween, this is by far the finest toy prop I own. The functions, light sequence and sounds are brilliant on this thing. My only gripes are because it's a toy, but they're easily fixable (tape and a bit more weight), but I'm stunned by this to be honest. I now only wish DST would let AA make a TNG/DS9/Nemesis era Phaser up to this quality, as this was well worth the wait for what it is.

Very happy, 10/10. smile.gif

I wholeheartedly agree on the Twok Phaser. as far as the 24th Century tech goes, looking at how good the boys at DST are with LEDs, I think I'd probably prefer them to have a crack at a First contact era Tricorder First.... I think they could really knock that out of the park...

I'm going to disagree with you, on the principle that I'm 3-4 weeks from getting the eFX one. tongue.gif

Nah, anything 24th century would be good enough to cause salty water to come from my eyes I think. I wish toys had been this good when I was at an age where it was okay to run around like a maniac with them. smile.gif

I ordered one of these for the $14.99 price tag, i think thats a pretty good deal. Seems like its been more productive for me to order online and take advantage of the sales and clearance deals than to go to any of the stores, except maybe TRU, because i bought a bunch of marked down Star Trek stuff there. I think i got like $230.00 worth of stuff for $104.00. Not bad.

I got my TWOK Phaser today, wow , thats a nice toy. I really like it, it seems so much more advanced that the TOS Phaser does. DST did a good job with this piece of Trek tech. I like the use of the magnet in this to hold it together, all of the different sound effects, lights and everything! Its really neat, if you dont have one yet, get one, you will like it! The good deal i got on it from Amazon really made this a good purchase. I really have to get a TMP phaser now with all of the pretty colored lights!
