I'm not sure if this question has been asked here before or not, but what is the highest number on one of your Playmates 4.5" Trek figures? I'm curious to see just how many of these figures Playmates produced back in the day. I'm sure each figure was produced in different numbers, with characters like Picard being produced more than, say, the Ferengi. Also, I'm sure that the production numbers diminished by the end of the line. But what's your highest number?

I think my highest number is on a Series 1 Picard: 292,435.

I looked over mine quickly most of mine are below the 100,000 mark I do however have a Guinan 242,746. I did always at least in the beginning intentionally look for ones with lower numbers. I also always bought them as soon as they came out so if higher numbers came along later I already had it by then. The Guinan is probably an exception to this as it was one of the more sought after so I got it as an extra to keep MOC.

I remember seeing some of the First Series figures going into the 400,000's.

My lowest one is a 000009 Elim Garak 9", and the crazy thing was I won him for like a buck on ebay...I spent more on shipping for him than I did on the figure himself

Great topic. I'll check the numbers on my loose set and MOC set to see what is the highest and lowest I have. From memory, I think I have a few under a 1000 but none under 100.

Does anyone have the QVC STNG set of figures with matching collector numbers?

it isn't a 4.5 inch figure but i have 00009 of the 9" Garak and I had 000015 of the 6" Warp Factor Obrien with console but had to return that years ago cuz my fam needed the money at the time, and when i went to get him back a few days later he was gone +(

It's not a figure, and I'm not sure what the highest number I have is, but I'm almost positive that my lowest collector's number is 365 on the 10,000 piece limited edition gold Enterprise

Sorry to dig this up, I may have mentioned this elsewhere, but I was looking through my figures (I have an Excel spreadsheet to keep up with them), and I found out my DS9 Worf has a nice number on his foot:

11,701

Close enough for me!

Just to throw my hat into the ring - I have #000028 Thomas Riker (the TNG version - not the one in the DS9 uniform)

As far as I understand, the earlier waves were produced in higher numbers according to Jim Garber of Playmates, while later on (like when the warp factor series was produced) they were all lower production runs across the board.

I guess this can be evidenced by what you sometimes see on the secondary market - so many TNG wave 1 and 2 figures while far fewer from the later series.

I've had a look at my Tom, 1,731 is his number.

Nearly 500,000 Geordi's and Picard's going around, certainly adds up when you look at what's for sale, well, anywhere I've been!

The only one that doesn't fit the pattern is an Intendant Kira I got last month, it's badly blurred but it appears to be 47,470. Such an oddly high number, particularly for a rare figure.

Some of my other rare figure numbers:

DS9 uniform Crusher: 102

"Redemption" Data: 996

TNG Sisko: 2,649

That's a very low Garak!

My camera's dead till the weekend, but I'll have a look at taking a photo. My guess is that it's 4,747, or 7,740. Thanks for the info as always BadBunnyMike!
