Some people have expressed a desire for the addition of T&T versions of Worf and Odo. If they do an Odo and Worf, they won't match the previous T&T figures, so is there really a point in making them? Personally, I would say just forget them. The T&T figures were a transitiionary release that was put out becuase they were easily kitbashed and AA already had the heads sculpted for them. They aren't going to match the new DS9 figures so I would rather just forget them and leave the T&T figures behind. The only way I would be for the release of T&T Worf and Odo would be if they made new versions of the figures in the new style and scale. And I doubt they would make completely new sculpts of just these two figures in the T&T scale to match the previous figures. It would just be too expensive a venture just to add two more figures to a set that was originally made to be a cheap and easy way to transition the license from AA to DST.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Hey Knightone,

I see where you're coming from, but both of these are tall characters so would they not fit anyway. AA/DST could always use the same body for both figures, just different heads.

I for one want both of these figures.

Just my thoughts.

Take care,

I'm fine with the figures we got. But yeah if they did do Worf & Odo they would would have to be in scale other wise there just wouldn't be any point.

I never really thought about it! This is a dilema for the people who wouldn't mind seeing them (me for one). I want them to scale with the originals. I think that is a more effective means to getting them than DST redoing the others. It stinks, but in comparison to each other, they will look ok so I wouldn't mind the scale difference between T&T and the rest.

If they did do them It would have to be in the same scale as the rest for me to buy them. The two different scales just don't look right together.

Matty-lad, the new TNG figure are not just taller but are bulkier and just bigger all around. that is why they would not fit right.

I just though of a very good way for them to be able to come out with these two figures. If they did a Cyrano Jones figure, they could repaint the same body twice for Worf and Odo. Sure, it wouldn't be super accurate, but neither were the original T&T figures. In fact, making them like that would probably allow them to match better with the other kitbashed figures of the T&T wave.

And Cyrano could also be released along side a Chapel and Rand, which would be even better if they shared a new body sculpt. It opens up another wave of TOS and it allows for the completion of the T&T figures. Everybody wins! biggrin.gif
