Found this while looking for the concept art for the Movie figures
QUOTE
The folks at Art Asylum have confirmed for us the line-up for their 3rd series of Star Trek The Orginal Series figures.

Salt Vampire
Orion Slave
Kor The Klingon
Gorn
Gold Shirt James T. Kirk

As for movie versions of Kirk and Spock, well they won't make it for series 3, but we presented the data to the folks at Art Asylum from lasts months TNI Online Poll where we asked the following:

Which 2 characters would you like to see made for Art Asylum's 3rd wave of Star Trek Orginal Series action figures?

Kirk/Spock (ST II-VI Movie Uniforms)
270

Christine Chapel/Janice Rand
105

Sarek/Harcourt Fenton Mudd
33

Bele/ Lokai
15

salt-sucking creature/Ruk
43

Balok/Nomad
10

Kang/Kor
74

We are told they will definitely get to movie figures at some point in the future . So keep your fingers crossed for a 4th assortment.

Famous last words? I cant wait, that was from 2003, I believe.

Look how long it took the Enterprise E to get here. All we can do is keep letting them know that we want them.

Wow. Kirk and Spock won by a landslide. They have to have a TOS movie line. Soon. It would do extremely well.

It's nice to see the idea of Chapel & Rand figures is a popular one.

Gives me hope for that '64 count box of crayons' !!! biggrin.gif

All of those lined-up are pretty cool.....Balok, Salt Vampire....Nomad, now a Nomad would be awesome!

You can never be sure what will happen in the future. I asked DST when the Captains Chairs were announced if any other 'The Cage' figures were coming and they responded with a firm no.

A few months later someone asked the same question and they said words to the effect of "we're looking into it." Which is probably a fancy way of saying leave us alone but you never know.

I am thinking we will see more figures from the "Cage" before the line ends. As long as the figures continue to sell, i think DST will produce every figure they can till either they stop selling or the license ends without a renewal.

Indeed.

A firm 'no' from DST on any characters or anything, more than likely just means they are not thinking of that item yet, they do not want to give away an info & they would not want to get peoples hopes up in any respect.
