Ok here's what I think. I think that the last Cylon is Adama...Dee Adama.

Leoban said that,"Adama is a Cylon". but Adama is their last name not their first.

I started watching BSG again awhile back, even though i still dont like it nearly as much as the original. The new series is interesting, and its fun wondering who the last cylon is going to be. We havent seen much of Dee Adama lately, so it would indeed be a shock if she walked out of a shadow and made it clear that she was the last cylon. I am thinking Lee Adama. Just a feeling. Kara Thrace is such a screwed up individual i would rather her not find Earth, we have enough like her already. This season is seriously strange.

That is a good theory. It will be interesting to see how the final season pans out.

Im liking the religious slant the show is taking. Heres a concept thats a bit far out there....please keep in mind that I think this series is going to end with some huge revelation that is going to blow peoples minds...heres my idea:

The Battlestar finds Earth but when it shows up Earth is not the current earth but rather earth about circa 25 BC +/- 20 years. The human form cylons decide to live on earth and decide to start Christianity and preach about the "one god." Baltar being Jesus may be a bit of a stretch but the technology may give him miracle like powers and the number of human form cylons is much to close to the number of disciples. I know this is way out there but every episode I watch I cant shake the feeling that this is where the show is headed. I also think that this may be way to much for even cable television to handle.

I know Ron Moore has already said that it wont be Baltar but that could just be to throw us off. I think Baltar would be a little to obvious and that it is going to be someone completely unexpected.

To me at this point when they do revela the last cylon it wont be a surprise no matter who it is. The last four reveals didnt really make much sense and had no real reason of why they were a cylon. No backstory hints that you could point at and say oh now i get it. Its like they just chose four random people to be cylons. If there were more clues placed inside the story then it be a surprise but if its another random choice then how can that be shocking? Maybe if given another season they could have dropped clues in.

The fact that Lee Adama is married to one would be a bit shocking to me. Did anyone notice that Dee came back for last Friday's Ep? AND they showed at least one close up of Lee's hand showing that he was still wearing his wedding ring? All his talk about "what if, would we still love her about Starbuck" will come into question when he finds out that he is married to one. I also think that in the end that will free him up somehow to be with Starbuck.

On a side note Lee sure is being played (or written) as a wimp these days.

To me Boomer being a cylon is one of the most shocking turns ive ever seen on tv. The killing of Billy way back when was shocking. The problem is once you do that it loses its effect pretty quickly for me. They could announce Lee himself as a cylon and I wouldnt bat an eye. I also think that revealing Ty, Tigh, Anders and that other lady as a cylon was a lowlight for me. It basically said that anyone can be a cylon with no ryhme or reason. If thats the case then how can the last reveal be exciting for me? Now if they brought back somebody like Shaw Cain or Billy as the last cylon that might surprise me. Anyone currently appearing somewhat regularly on the show would be anticlamatical and unsurprising for me.

So here my official guess as to who it is: They are all Cylons and were allowed to escape the destruction of the 13 colonies by the cylon god so they could find earth and we are all descendants of the cylons too.

My wife Trish seems to feel it's Adama or Roslin for this reason. Me? I have no frackin' idea who it could be at this point. I was totally surprised with Tigh, Chief and Anders being one. Tori, not so much, as they had invested in her character a bit much the last season. Next week looks to be exciting, I hope that the fight with Tigh and Adama isn't another mind screw rolleyes.gif

I think that the people chosen to be 4 of the final 5 was actualy thought out pretty well and did not realy seem that random to me at all. You have Chief Tyrol who was originaly in love with Boomer and found out she was a Cylon. That didnt go over very well and caused him all kinds of grief in the beginning and now finds out he is in fact a Cylon. Tori who was the trusted right hand of the President and is now "sleeping witht the enemy" in hopes to learn more about her Cylon self. Anders who is married to one of the biggest Cylon haters ever and who was the leader of the resistance against the Cylons. Tigh who has fought in two Cylon wars and is Admiral Adamas best friend and who was leader fo the resistance on New Caprica and even killed his own wife to fight for the cause. As for the last one it could end up being Dee but i think they will go a different route with it. I think it will be someone that we dont realy expect but when it is revealed we all be like "oh man I didnt see that coming". After writting this and seeing the pattern I think the could be Tom Zarek.

Would be something if Tigh's wife turns out to be the last cylon, at least a copy of her anyway. It couldnt be Roslin, because she is dying of cancer, doubtful that would happen to a cylon. Another thought i had was: Cally.

I thought about those too. But one of the things that I think they said that is different about the final five is that they dont have copies. I think they are just who they are. So that would mean that it has to be someone still in the show. Another thought that I had about who it could be would realy come out of left feild but could work becuase his character is suppossed to come back this season. Romo Lampkin (sp). He is the Attorney that worked with Lee durring Baltars trial.

I will say that I would not be shocked if it was Tigh's wife. After all they never had kids.

Aw man, I didn't know about any of them besides Boomer!

We must be pretty far behind here in Australia. Billy only just died a week or two ago.

Ok Artistix....stay out of any TV/movie threads where you are behind the rest of the world, or you're going to hit spoilers!

No apologies necessary people.

I was sure a few more of them would end up cylons anyway. And I agree making any 'big' character the next cylon is a bit of a yawn. It needs to be someone interesting, but not too predictable. My guess is probably Ellen, she's always been odd....but her being a cylon would not shock anyone.

They are probably up to speed on normal Aussie TV, but I have been watching on cable, which is in season 2 sometime I gather...& I have not seen season 1 at all!! Thought I'd buy the DVD box sets.

Jamie Bamber has put on weight??

I don't want to ruin it for you Sam, but it will shock you, I promise wink.gif Speaking of Bamber, bit of a cold fish. I had the opportunity of meeting both he and Wil Wheaton a few weeks back at ECCC (Emerald City Comicon) here in Seattle. Believe it or not, the line for Wil was longer than Jamie's, which could account for his seeming bored with the whole thing. Wil on the other hand, couldn't have been nicer. I know he doesn't have the best reputation on Trek circuit, but he was very courteous to everyone in his line. Of course our friends son couldn't have been more bored waiting in line with us, lol.
