They are all preorders on ebay for the single packs. I have been checking every day for new ones though. LOL

Yeah, thanks Sam. I'm really impressed with the Scarlett comparison in the 2nd link. That's what I like to see in toy/figure reviews (at least from a photography standpoint...I'll have to go back and finish reading the article when I have more time).

I got both of my 5 packs today and have to say that these are the best joes that I have ever had and I have owned a lot of joes in my day. I will post some pics later.

Wow...awesome pics JMW...they are really cool.

I was thinking of putting through an order with Smalljoes.com...I used to order off them all the time. Is that where you picked these up?

I got mine from BigBadToyStore.com. It was the first time I have ever used them and they were really good.

From the pics I have seen, it appears Baroness is wearing more 'platform' type shoes, the heel seems to be filled in.

Scarlett has regular chunky hi-heeled boots.

Yep Sam wins the prize. Scarlet has actual heels but they are kind of chunky. The Baroness is suppossed to look like she is wearing heels but the space is filled in so that they could make a place for the peg for her stand to fit because she has realy small feet. In all honesty The Baroness is my least favorite of the figures in the set. Don't get me wrong she is an OK figure but does not make my top five from these two sets. My top five from the two sets are:
1: Storm Shadow
2: Snake Eyes
3: Gung Ho
4: Duke
5: Cobra Commander

I don't like it when they do that.

It's the same with the JLU Mattel figures...all the heels are filled in, except the 10" figures with which they used hard platsic boots to avoid problems.

I'd prefer they simply do as they did with Scarlett & Star Wars Aayla Secura...just make it a fat heel....that way it's still a hi-heel & doesn't look dodgy with this 'filled in' crap AND they can still stand.

Though I know this is more a problem now with rubbery plastics being used...thin heels probabaly wouldn't stay straight long.

I just think it looks dodgy. I'll have a customiser cut them out at some point.

I do find it odd that the men of the new range have really good, realistic looking faces.

However, as mentioned, the ladies seem to look more cartoonish....more like SIMGA6 sculpting.

They still look awesome...just thought it was kinda odd.

Did we know when the next lot of 25th packs is coming out?

The first wave of single packs should be hitting any time now. They have already started popping up on ebay. The second wave of 5 packs is scheduled for October and the second wave of single packs is scheduled for September. Although the single packs seem to be the ones getting the delays in this collection. The first wave was suppossed to have been out in May but keeps getting pushed back so I not sure how concrete the dates I listed will be.

Cheers JMW.

New pics of Baroness at TNI:

Are these the same size as Microman? Microman women have normal heels...perhaps we can do a swap LL.

Do you know if thats possible JMW?
