OK, for those who know, what's the difference with these and the one's they did at Disneyland a few years back?

The Disney ones had limited articulation. The sculpt was OK but these new ones are better IMO. FYI though Disney is going to have an exclusive 7" set of Indy figures. From what I have heard they should be showing up this month.

The first series seen here have no action features. They look like they use some of the Joe and Star Wars articulation. I think the action feature figures are either for a seperate wave or since they were just protos shown at a con they may not even show up.

Ah, someone had said they were limited due to the action features.

I'd be more than happy if there were no such features.

Going by my order from Hasbro and the e-mail I got, I'm guessing the Indy figures will be out around the end of the month. Of course I could be totally wrong. wink.gif

I think May 1st is the official "street" date but I keep hoping they come sooner.

Wonder if they will have a official date of release like they did for Star Wars figures, which had big promotions at Walmart and Toysrus. I think i went to walmart at midnight on the date they released the ROTS figures and picked up my figures before they sold out of them. It was overrated though.

I know exactly what you mean. I may limit myself to just the figures of Indy himself.

They would have troubles replicating the beauty of Alison Doody on a 3.75" figure....but she's ok.

Much like most 3.75" lines (& DST's Trek) their strength is in their numbers.

Just a heads up for every one. Some of these have been spotted at Wal Mart stores already but if you get to the register with them you may not be able to purchase them. They are not officialy supposed to be released until May 1st and will not ring up. Althought some clerks will just enter a generic code and enter the price if you tell them what it is. But the official on shelf date is May 1st.

I wonder how Michael got ahold of these at a Target unsure.gif From what I've read, they have a system that red flags this for sale and unlike Wal Mart, they don't usually override things. I saw these at 2 different Wal Mart's in my area last week, before a clerk came up and started taking them off the shelves sad.gif I'm still on the fence, although I would like to get the ark of the covenant biggrin.gif

Just remember, if you go looking for these and are able to purchase them, you might be jeopardizing that stores, maybe even the chains, ability to carry and release products.

Of course, it is always nice to get them 'fore anyone else. biggrin.gif

Some Wal Mart stores will over ride and ring up figures that should not be rang up yet if you know the price. The just ring it up as a general merchandise item. It just depends on the person at the register.
