Hey guys,
I had an ongoing post of this as it progressed back on the artasylum custom forums, but since those are long gone, I thought I'd share a few pics of it here:

The last picture was taken around a year ago, and I'm ashamed to say I haven't touched it since then. Really all I have left to do is a few additions to the roof piece and a re-fitting of the 'lights' which go around the interior rim around the roof. I moved around this time last year, and the poor thing has been residing on a shelf in a closet since then. I decided to leave the front open rather than complete the whole bridge so I could display it with the figures easier.

The other custom set piece I've built is a DS9 window panel for the crew to stand in front of:

I'm keeping my finger's crossed that I will get to do the same for Voyager. If so, I am still debating on what I should do. Their bridge is rather massive, and I don't think I have the space for 2 bridges. I was thinking a portion of Sickbay or maybe the Transporter pad. I really really loved the Delta Flyer, and would love to build a scale interior of that, but it seems quite intricate and would make for a very challenging build.

I remember this on the AA forum and was astounded by its beauty then. It's still droppingly amazing now. And the DS9 corridir is pretty darn good too! Some fabulous work there.

Yeah- I remember this from AA, and it's still as amazing now as it was then! I'm not sure if I ever saw the last bridge pic... but damn! You need to make a mold and get these mass-produced. wink.gif

I wonder if that would work. Making a rubber mold from the original and then casting it in resin. You could do a lot of sanding and such to get them to look even sleeker! I would for sure buy all of them!

I have nothing to say cause words fail me. I love looking at diorama threads, usually on rebelscum or Doctorwhoforum but these are so much more than a cut above the rest. The bridge is stunning.

Those Bridge shots are pretty fantastic. I never really realized what the E bridge actually looked like since it is usually always so dark and it seems they never showed a scene of the whole bridge at once, like they did in TNG of the D. At least a scene that i could make out what the place looked like. I dont understand why they have all of those stations that require you to stand up though, in reality there would be seats there and lower stations because no one is going to stand up for an entire 8 hour shift. A 50 minute episode or 90 minute movie would be tolerable to stand there, but not much more than that. Just plain Illogical.

I don't find that to be completely un realistic that somebody would be standing for 8 hour shifts, I do. I think a Klingon would have no problem for one thing.

Plus it's really only the tactical console, the Master Sytems Display at the back and the console opposite Tactical (I never really new what that was) that don't have seats. The remaining consoles around the side of the bridge, and the consoles where Crusher and Geordi are standing in the above pictures, all have seats in the movies.

DS9 FAN is correct,
I actually have chairs built for 3 stations inset into the wall on both sides as well as the stations where Dr. Crusher and Geordi are standing. They are a tan colored leather with the starfleet emblem on the back in a slightly lighter color. I think at the time of taking the pics they weren't all quite done yet
Thanks again for all the positive comments everyone!

I cannot say anything that hasn't already been said, however I will still say that those are amazing (which doesn't even begin to describe how awesome that bridge is!)

As to the Voyager background, my vote is for sick bay or that window in Janeway's office (that always seemed iconic to me!

Keep up the stellar work!
