Hello, all. New to the boards, obviously. I've been collecting Star Trek toys since I was probably six years old. I remember Christmas 1992 receiving the first wave of the TNG figures from Playmates and ever since then, I've just been hooked. My list of action figures is fairly extensive and I ultimately collected the bridge, transporter, shuttlecraft, and engineering room for the figures. Also have the Enterprise-D, 1701 Enterprise, and Romulan Warbird from Playmates, as well as the TNG phaser, tricorder, and communicator, as well as the TOS phaser and tricorder. When I was about 10 or 11, I stopped collecting them, but, they remained in storage, and as I grew up, I learned to collect them for display purposes.
A good portion of my living area consists of action figures, be it from Star Trek or WWE; I even have some mint condition seaQuest DSV figures as well. With the new movie out, I jumped on the 3.75 inch bandwagon, imported all the characters from the U.S. (so I could get the bridge pieces), picked up the bridge, transporter, and the Enterprise as well, so, it's like being a little kid again, except this time, I have tons more disposable income. Currently, I'm awaiting the Star Trek VI model of the Enterprise-A in the mail from eBay, hopefully will be able to build it and make it look good.
Aside from collecting, I spend my time working, writing, hanging out,, playing video games, and watching television (you know, the usual "geek activities" )
