Are DST's first wave of DS9 Figures particularly rare?

I seem to remember something happening when the DS9 series 1 figures were made, some kind of factory problem maybe, where fewer figures ended up being made (or fewer were usable) than DST had planned on. I'm pretty sure I do remember Rick at New Force having to wait for a second factory run to complete all the preorders he had. So there might be fewer Ezri figures overall than there are of the other chase figs, if that makes sense.

That sounds extremely plausible to me. although if Martok was the Chase for Wave two...he seem to be very easy to come by here, I just payed 4.99 for him at Play.com!
